These University of Miami alumnae, armed with degrees in Microbiology and Immunology, swapped lab coats for cameras and fishing rods.

he has been providing exceptional fishing charters since 1978. Terry is also an accomplished outdoor writer, having authored books such as Sportsman’s Best: Redfish and the Southern Kingfish Association-produced Kingfish book.

With over 34 years as a charter guide, Mike has led countless anglers to magical moments that last a lifetime. Captain Mike is also regarded as one of the top Redfish tournament anglers in the country. If you can't find him at the lodge, likely chasing redfish on the pro circuit.

Captain Darrien “D” Ladner is a seasoned fishing guide with over four decades of experience navigating the Mississippi Coast and Louisiana marshes. A lifelong Gulf Coast resident, Darrien’s passion for fishing and hunting began at an early age, and he has been sharing his expertise with clients since acquiring his Master Captain’s License in 2012.
Known for his hands-on approach and deep understanding of local waters, Captain D ensures that every client leaves with lasting memories and a few tricks of the trade. When he’s not guiding, Darrien spends his days in the woods or on the water with his wife, son, and two daughters, embodying his commitment to family and the great outdoors.
